A Friend in Need

I just got word that a friend of mine has a brain tumor. They will be going into surgery to get it removed and have it analyzed to make sure that it isn’t cancer. I don’t know if this person is trying to make their situation public knowledge or not, so I am intentionally keeping names and details out of this post. I am writing to ask for the prayers of everyone out there. This is a very scary time for my friend and their entire family. Thank you all for the support.

  2. I will keep them in my prayers also. I hope it's not malignant. What a horrible thing.
Kevin, you asked me the other day if you knew any of the members that lost their homes in the Oxford ward. I don't know if you remember Butch and Susan Scott. Her brother and family lost everything except their car. I don't know the other members. So many new people have moved there. My sister said that several of them had water damage. A member in Tupelo was inside his house and the tornado picked the house up off the foundation and moved it several hundred feet with him in it and he didn't get a scratch. My nephew that lives in Houston, MS lost his home, but they are all O.K. and that's the important thing.

  4. By the way, thank you for that. It meant a lot to all of us. And the results came back negative, it was not malignant. Thought you might want to know.
